Washington, August 21 - The director of World War II classic films like 'Kelly's Heroes' and 'Where Eagles Dare', Brian G. Hutton, has passed away at the age of 79.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Al Ruddy revealed that the onetime actor, who also helmed 'The First Deadly Sin' with Frank Sinatra and two films starring Elizabeth Taylor, died after suffering a heart attack a week ago.
Hutton, who directed Frank Sinatra in the dark cop drama 'The First Deadly Sin', is survived by his wife Victoria. (ANI)
Los Angeles: Rapper Earl Sweatshirt has slammed Taylor Swift`s new single `Shake It Off`, calling it harmful and offensive.
The 20-year-old hip-hop artist from the Odd Future group said though he has not watched the video, he knows the song is in poor taste, reportedly.
"Haven`t watched the Taylor Swift video and I don`t need to watch it to tell you that it`s inherently offensive and ultimately harmful.
"Perpetuating black stereotypes to the same demographic of white girls who hide their prejudice by proclaiming their love of the culture," he wrote on his Twitter page.
London: Veteran actress-singer Debbie Reynolds will receive the lifetime achievement award by the Screen Actors Guild.
The 82-year-old `Tammy and the Bachelor` star will be honoured at the Actors Guild ceremony on January 25 next year, reportedly.
The award is the highest honour bestowed by the Actors Guild and is given out each year to an individual who represents `the highest ideals of the acting profession`.

"The Bollywood film music cuisine is largely made up of folk song recipes," Kailash, who is also a composer, he said.

Washington, August 21 - Madonna has reportedly called off her relationship with her boyfriend Timor Steffens and asked him to pack his bags and leave while in the middle of their European vacation .
Sources revealed that the 'Like a Virgin' singer politely asked Steffens to take his luggage and leave on her son Rocco's birthday and he left after making it clear that they are done, Us Magazine reported.

London, August 21 - Jackie Chan has expressed his anger and shame over his son's recent arrest on drug-related charges, in Beijing.
The 60-year-old Hong Kong actor revealed on his official account on Chinese microblogging site Sina Weib that he is "very angry and shocked" to hear of his 31-year-old son Jaycee's arrest on drug-related charges, the BBC reported.
Chan, who was named an official 'Narcotics Control Ambassador' by Chinese police in 2009, further said that he is sad and ashamed of his son, and added that his wife is "heartbroken".
Washington, Aug 21 - Billy Crystal will be honoring his longtime friend, late Robin Williams at the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards .
According to Emmycast executive producer Don Mischer, the 66-year-old actor was the "logical choice" to present the award because of his history with the late 63-year-old comedian, Fox News reported.
