New Delhi [India], Feb. 3 : You'd think it was impossible to embellish the sultry, chartbuster track from 50 Shades Darker, but thanks to Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik, 'I don't wanna live forever' has just gotten more tantalising.
Taylor took her account on YouTube to post a video of her rehearsing for the DIRECTV NOW Super Saturday Night show in Houston this weekend, and what followed was unexpectedly beautiful.
Dressed in all-black sweater and jeans (with her signature painted lips of course!) the singer can be seen with her black acoustic guitar, with people moving about the backdrop filled with musical equipment.
Even though the guitar gives away that she is going to croon the acoustic version of the pop song, one does not expect the hit of simple music once Taylor starts singing.
Despite just singing the first verse of the globally trending number, it has left everyone waiting for more.
However, unlike Taylor's raw footage, Zayn released a full-fledged video of him singing in a recording studio.
Singing in an octave below the original version, the former One Direction singer just takes your breath away in his version.
Throughout the black and white, scratchy video, Zayn can be seen in his unplugged avatar, completely focussed on the music and in constant interaction with the song producers.
Somehow, the acoustic versions by Taylor and Zayn are able to focus entirely on the lyrics of the song unlike the video, which takes your breath away with the effects and the techno magic.
Yes the IDWL number set the charts on fire on how popular it got within seconds of its release, but these beautiful and delicious versions are bound to garner an even larger response. (ANI)
