Preity-Ness case: Actress meets Maria, seeks permission to fly abroad

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Preity Zinta, who has filed a molestation case against her ex-boyfriend and industrialist Ness Wadia, Monday met Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria and sought permission to fly abroad, which was immediately granted.

During the meeting, the 39-year-old actress also gave some more details about the incident of alleged molestation at the Wankhede Stadium on May 30.

"Preity sought our permission to fly abroad as she has some prior commitments. She has been granted permission. She is going out of the country for a brief period," said Maria.

Mumbai - Sajid Nadiadwala, who is turning director with Salman Khan starrer `Kick`, says he is extremely nervous about the project.

The trailer of `Kick` has so far crossed ten million views. "I am extremely nervous and excited about my directorial debut `Kick`. I have been a creative producer for 27 years but I still feel like a newcomer where `Kick` is concerned,"Nadiadwala said in a statement here.

Mumbai: A common friend of industrialist Ness Wadia and Preity Zinta Thursday told the police he saw the former grabbing the Bollywood actor`s arm on May 30 but could not hear their conversation, as recording of statement of witnesses continued in the criminal complaint filed by her.

Jai Kanojia is the latest witness to record his statement in the June 12 complaint of Zinta, who has accused Wadia, her former boyfriend, of abusing and threatening her during an IPL match between Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede Stadium here on May 30.

Mumbai, June 1 : Megastar Amitabh Bachchan will return to the host's chair of "Kaun Banega Crorepati" (KBC) soon. But his small screen journey doesn't conclude here. He will also be seen in his first fiction TV show - "Yudh".

The promo of his fiction show, directed by Anurag Kashyap, is currently being aired on Sony Entertainment Channel. The official launch will happen Sunday.

Mumbai, June 1 : The release of the first poster of "Dirty Politics", showing protagonist Mallika Sherawat wrapped in the tricolour and sitting atop a car with a beacon, has kicked up a row, but director K. C. Bokadia is unperturbed. He says that he will not buckle under pressure and change it.

"Some political party from Rajasthan is planning to file a case against me and I got to know about it yesterday when my lawyer briefed me about it," Bokadia, knwon for producing hits like "Pyaar Jhukta Nahin" and "Janta Ki Adalat", told IANS.
