Paris, Nov 25 : Singer Perrie Edwards slapped a radio disc jockey (DJ) after he revealed that he dumped his partner by sending a text message.

Singer Zayn Malik had dumped Edwards with a text message last year.

A French radio station host jokingly told Edwards -- through the help of a translator -- that he had done the same thing to a former lover.

She turned and swung for the DJ, slapping him in the face. The crowd started to chant her name as the broadcaster looked stunned, reports mirror.co.uk.

Edwards soon started giggling and shaking her head as she turned around. IANS

Rihanna was set to perform at the Allianz Stadium in Nice on Friday night as part of her Anti World Tour. She is next schedule to perform on Sunday night at the Commerzback Arena in Frankfurt, Germany.

Cannes, May 23 : Supermodel Kendall Jenner was reportedly tricked into getting on a boat with some "random" guys here as she tried to enter a star-studded party.

The 20-year-old was trying to get on billionaire Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen's yacht when she was hoodwinked by a group of Europeans, reports dailymail.co.uk.

Describing the group as "random Eurotrash guys", the model eventually convinced the pranksters to take her back to the shore.

She was here for 69th Cannes Film Festival with her mother Kris. The film fest took place from May 11 to May 22.

Paris, May 14 : Singer-actress Lady Gaga will star as late English singer Cilla Black, whereas LeToya Luckett will play Dionne Warwick in "Dionne", a new biopic about the legendary singer that was announced at the Cannes Film Festival.

The film will span the early days of Warwick's career from 1962 to 1968, as she released classic songs like "Alfie" and "I say a little prayer", reports variety.com.

Danny Glover will portray Warwick's father, Mansel Warwick. Olympia Dukakis will co-star as German songstress and actress Marlene Dietrich, who mentored Warwick.
