London [U.K], Feb. 15 : Benedict Cumberbatch feels 'honoured' as his 'Sherlock' has topped the worldwide poll of most popular BBC television characters.

Cumberbatch said, "I'm honoured to hear that my portrayal of Sherlock has been internationally recognised as viewers' favourite BBC TV character," reports the Mirror.

Adding, "Who would have thought a high-functioning sociopath could be so popular with people all over the world?".

According to a report in the Daily Star, while opening up after the win, Patel said, "This is an out of body experience. I hadn't even planned a speech. This film has a really big heart and I can see the power of word of mouth - I'm still overcome."

London (UK), Feb.13 : Days after announcing his retirement from touring due to exhaustion, Grammy winning jazz singer Al Jarreau has died in a Los Angeles hospital.

A statement posted on Facebook said Jarreau "passed away this morning. He was in the hospital, kept comfortable by his wife, son, and a few of his family and friends. A small, private service is planned, for immediate family only. No public service is planned yet this time," reports The Guardian.

The statement on the Facebook page also called on the singer's admirers to donate for the Wisconsin School of Music.

The British model announced her pregnancy on Instagram as she showed off her baby bump in an image of herself kneeling on the beach.

"Very happy to share that Jason and I are expecting!! Lots of love Rosie. Photo by @jasonstatham," she wrote.

The pose, in which the ' Mad Max: Fury Road' star is seen kneeling in a bikini in profile, was immediately reminiscent of Beyonce's pregnancy announcement last week.
