Moscow, May 3: An amateur video captured during a Moscow performance of Justin Bieber's "Believe" world tour shows a heartwarming moment when the pop idol brought a little girl onstage and serenaded her with his hit song "Baby".

"Gaby, you know my song 'Baby', right? You want to help me sing it?" Bieber asks in the video shot Tuesday and posted on YouTube by 19-year-old Vadim Petrov.

Bieber, who is also 19, is seen putting his arms around the girl wearing a white knit cap, who cries after being singled out from the thousands in attendance.

Moscow, March 17 - Unesco Artist for Peace ambassador and the world's best-selling soprano singer Sarah Brightman's trip to the International Space Station (ISS) in 2015 is in doubt, the head of Russian space agency Roscosmos has said.

Roscosmos and NASA may opt against sending Brightman to the ISS because the trip depends on the duration of the 2015 visiting flight to the ISS, said Vladimir Popovkin.

Moscow, March 8 - Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi, author of some of the world's heaviest riffs, has penned the music for Armenia's entry in this year's Eurovision Song Contest, organisers said.

The lyrics to the rock ballad were written by Gor Sujyan, who fronts the band Dorians.

Iommi, who achieved world fame in the 1970s with Black Sabbath, fronted by Ozzy Osbourne, admitted he had initially been unsure about the contest, famed for its lightweight pop and disco, as well as novelty acts.

Moscow, Feb 26 - French actor Gerard Depardieu plans to make a movie about Chechnya, the regional government said.

"I want to film a movie here to show that one can make a movie in Grozny, a big movie," said Depardieu, who received Russian citizenship in January from President Vladimir Putin.

"I can't disclose any details about the movie, but I know we will come back here, and it's only the beginning," the actor said.

Moscow, Feb 24 : French film star Gerard Depardieu, who recently became a Russian citizen, has obtained a permanent residence permit in Mordovia in central Russia.

"All honour to Russia, all honour to Mordovia. This is a region which is not rich in oil and gas but it is rich in people, who embody ideas into life," Depardieu said after he received a Russian passport with a residence permit stamp on it.

The actor has been registered in an apartment belonging to relatives of his long-time friend, Nikolai Borodachyov, director of the National Film Fund.

Moscow, Jan 11 - Russian ultraconservatives have struck again in St. Petersburg, where a museum of famous writer Vladimir Nabokov was attacked over "paedophilia".

A lone vandal broke a museum window with a bottle that contained a note which threatened the museum with "God's wrath" over its alleged propaganda of Nabokov's paedophilia, Fontanka. ru city news website reported.

The museum received a handful of anonymous letters with similar homilies over the past months, its director Tatiana Ponomaryova said. Police were looking into the incident.

Moscow, Nov 4 - Chinese composer and conductor Tan Dun has received the Shostakovich Award named after Russian musician Dmitri Shostakovich.

Tan, an iconic Chinese musician, said he was "honoured and touched". He said he got familiar with Shostakovich's works at an early age and held him in high regard.

"There is no territory in the world of music. On this common platform, we could connect past with future, share ideas and thoughts, dig into inner self and pursue our dreams," Xinhua quoted Tan as saying after receiving the award Saturday in Moscow.

Moscow, Oct 27 - Supermodel Naomi Campbell's businessman boyfriend Vladislav Doronin has build a house for her in Moscow that resembles a spaceship.

The house has a rather elongated entrance with two tower like structures on the top. Doronin, who has been dating Campbell since 2008 reportedly plans to live in this mansion after they tie the knot, reports dailymail. co. uk.
