Trailer out: PINK stands for women empowerment

New Delhi, Aug. 9 : Finally, the trailer of the much awaited Amitabh Bachchan starrer 'PINK' is out and all the title speaks about is women empowerment.

When the 73-year-old actor was asked about the thought behind such a unique title, he said, "Pink stands for women empowerment. Hence it is titled the same. Women are not respected in the society which they should stand up against."

The Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury directed and Shoojit Sircar produced movie also stars Taapsee Pannu and Angad Bedi.

New Delhi, Aug. 8 : Ajay Devgn's much awaited movie 'Shivaay,' that speaks about the presence of Lord Shiva in everyman, was inspired from a real life story.

"Shivaay is an emotional drama. The idea came from an article on a real life story, we read. We were moved by the article. This picture is from that thought process. We did not follow it, rather that was our inspiration," he said during the trailer launch yesterday at Indore.

New Delhi, Aug. 8 : Within just 15 hours of its release, the trailer of Ajay Devgn's much awaited movie 'Shivaay' garnered around 2.5 million views.

The film's official Twitter handle shared the news and posted, "This is big, this is EPIC. Around 2.5 million views on #ShivaayTrailer in just 15 Hours. Thank you so much to all our fans."

The trailer of the film, which also Erika Kaar and Sayyeshaa Saigal, sees Devgn as an innocent Himalayan mountaineer, capable of being a destroyer and protector like Lord Shiva.

New Delhi, Aug. 8 : Superstar Salman Khan has recently revealed that he wanted to be a part of Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starrer 'Freaky Ali,' but despite repeated requests, the film's director Sohail Khan chose Arbaz Khan over him.

Bollywood Bhaijaan said at the trailer launch of the movie, "I so wanted to be part of 'FreakyAli' but Sohail somehow wasn't ready. I even asked him for several characters, but he took Aarbaaz not me."

The 49-year old actor added, "This film is completed in 38 days. If I had been in the film, it would have taken 138 days."

Taking to his Twitter handle, Riteish, 37, tweeted, "10 Million for the Banjo Teaser - 3 days to #BanjoTrailer."

Released on May 30, the teaser showed the 'Masti' actor as a slum dweller with big dreams and introduces him as 'Banjo ke duniya ka Bachchan', while the movie's leading lady Nargis Fakhri is seen in a tribal avatar, sporting a navvari sari in the teaser.
