New York [USA], Apr 26 : Even after Donald Trump's controversial policies on LGBT issues, US Olympian Caitlyn Jenner does not regret her decision to vote for him.

The reality TV star, while giving interview to CNN said, "As far as LGBT issues, yes, he's made some mistakes. I don't support him in everything that he does. But we needed to shake the system up."

The 'I Am Cait' star came out as transgender two years ago in an interview with ABC's Diane Sawyer and revealed that she had "soul of a female."

"Lemonade" won a Peabody Award last week, and Beyonce bagged two Grammys for phenomenal work in February.

The Formation Scholars program will give awards to "young women who are unafraid to think outside the box and are bold, creative, conscious and confident," according to the announcement.

New York [U.S.A.], Apr 25 : In what may break hearts of many fans, Grammy-winning legend Elton John has cancelled his shows at Caesar Palace in Las Vegas, which were scheduled for April and May, after being hospitalized for a serious bacterial infection.

During a recent tour of South America, Elton contracted a harmful bacterial infection that left him "violently ill', the CNN quoted the Caesar's Palace's statement posted on its Facebook page.

The singer was released on Saturday after having spent two days in intensive care.

New York [USA], Apr. 22 : Soul singer Cuba Gooding Sr., the father of Oscar-winner Cuba Gooding Jr., was found dead in his car, says police and the Los Angeles County Coroner's office.

Gooding, who found fame in his own right with the 1972 hit ' Everybody Plays the Fool,' was 72 and is survived by his wife and four children.

According to CNN, LAPD officers located Gooding, in the Woodland Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon.

Another report by TMZ said police found empty booze containers in the car, leading to the suspicion that he died from an overdose.

A spokeswoman with the Queens District Attorney's Office said La Beouf was given a "pre-arraignment dismissal," citing insufficient evidence.

In a New York Times interview, the 39-year-old said, "Who else would I be thinking about?" while adding, "It's a testament to the fact that I have not dated a lot of people in the last five, six years. That was my only relationship. So it's like, give me this, people."

The two dated on and off for about a year and a half until early 2014, when they finally called it quits.
