Los Angeles (USA), Feb. 25 : Hollywood has been really vocal about all the wrong decisions taken by the US government, recently. Now, all the six directors whose films have been nominated for the best foreign-language film Oscar, criticizing politicians for creating divisive walls.

The Hollywood Reporter reported, the six directors have issued a statement condemning "the climate of fanaticism and nationalism we see today in the U.S. and in so many other countries, in parts of the population and, most unfortunately of all, among leading politicians."

The project is an adaptation of Ian McEwan's novel of the same name and ' Sherlock' fame is all set to both star and be the executive producer, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

"I read the novel years ago and it stayed with me profound, beautiful and very moving. Only Ian McEwan could write about loss with such telling honesty," he says.

With less than six weeks to go for the principal photography, the studio has shut down the latest adaptation of 'Friday The 13th,' reports The Hollywood Reporter.

This decision takes place on the same day the movie got undated by Paramount, which was to open on October 13.

After 'Hacksaw Ridge', the duo is teaming up again for a gritty crime thriller 'Dragged Across Concrete', reports The Independent.

The flick will be written and directed by 'Bone Tomahawk's' S. Craig Zahler.

The film focuses on two policemen, played by Gibson and Vaughn, who find themselves suspended when a video of their strong arm tactics comes out in media.
