New Delhi, Aug. 8 : Ajay Devgn's much awaited movie 'Shivaay,' that speaks about the presence of Lord Shiva in everyman, was inspired from a real life story.

"Shivaay is an emotional drama. The idea came from an article on a real life story, we read. We were moved by the article. This picture is from that thought process. We did not follow it, rather that was our inspiration," he said during the trailer launch yesterday at Indore.

New Delhi, Aug. 8 : Within just 15 hours of its release, the trailer of Ajay Devgn's much awaited movie 'Shivaay' garnered around 2.5 million views.

The film's official Twitter handle shared the news and posted, "This is big, this is EPIC. Around 2.5 million views on #ShivaayTrailer in just 15 Hours. Thank you so much to all our fans."

The trailer of the film, which also Erika Kaar and Sayyeshaa Saigal, sees Devgn as an innocent Himalayan mountaineer, capable of being a destroyer and protector like Lord Shiva.

Kolkata: As controversies surrounding big-budgeted films becomes a trend in Bollywood, actor Ajay Devgn feels that unknown entities create controversies to become famous.

"In most cases where a person has filed a case against a particular film you find that you have never heard about that person before. He has created that controversy and he becomes famous," Devgn said.

"Controversies also happen because some people want to create controversies. But some must be having genuine issues," the actor who plays a supercop in `Singham Returns` said.

Jaipur: Actor Ajay Devgn believes that his upcoming movie `Singham Returns`, sequel of hit 2011 action film of the same name, would take the anti-corruption sentiments high among people.

Devgn, 45, said that people would appreciate the movie, its story and the drama. "Characters are the same and rest is different in the movie which is more realistic, has more drama and more real-like actions and I believe that people would connect themselves with the movie," Devgn told reporters here.

Mumbai - Actor Ajay Devgn feels that brand `Singham` can be carried forward for years in Bollywood as it has become a cult character.

"Singham has become a character which can go on and on. Like in Hollywood we had `Rambo` (character). `Singham` can combat at the age of 50 or 60. It becomes lovable whoever plays it. It has become a cult character," Ajay said in an interview here.

The actor, who is back in action mode with `Singham Returns`, the sequel of his blockbuster `Singham`, feels doing action at the age of 45 is not difficult provided proper care is taken.

Mumbai, Feb 11 : Actor-producer Ajay Devgn, who shies away from dancing, says he couldn't escape "Action Jackson" director Prabhudheva, who made him shake a leg in two songs.

"Prabhu made me work really hard for the film. He made me dance, which I generally run away from," Ajay told IANS.

"I have shot for two songs. We have total five songs in the film and the rest are yet to be shot and I don't know how am I going to do them," added the 44-year-old.

In the film, Ajay has teamed up with Sonakshi Sinha.

Candolim (Goa), Feb 7 : Actor-producer Ajay Devgn, who has a very reserved image in the industry, has been signed as a brand ambassador of hosiery brand Sirtex Eazy.

The actor launched the brand in Goa Friday, and said that the location has always been lucky for him.

"I have shot for many films in Goa. I love Goa and I feel Goa has always been lucky for me. I hope it is lucky for the Sertex association as well" Ajay told reporters.

The actor, who will be seen in upcoming action film "Action Jackson", added that he was very satisfied with the inner wear after trying it.
