22 nods.

"Black-ish" star Anthony Anderson and "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" actress Lauren Graham revealed the names at a live stream event, which saw HBO's hit "Veep" lead the comedy nominations with 17 nods.

Los Angeles: Indian-origin American actor Aziz Ansari says he wants to make sure there are more people of colour on the second season of his TV show "Master of None".

The American comedy-drama TV series has been created by Ansari and Alan Yang. It stars Ansari in the lead role of Dev, a 30-year-old actor who attempts to make his way through life in New York City.

The show was renewed for a second season in February 2016, scheduled to premiere sometime in 2017.

New York, May 23 : Indian-American comedian Aziz Ansari opined that its strange that the films which are based on author Nicholas Spark's books, have white people only.

Ansari shared his views at The New York Times' TimesTalks here on Friday stating that diversity in films is not getting better, reports people.com.

"When people ask me, 'Do you think the diversity stuff is getting better?' I'm like, 'No.' There's a poster right outside our writer's room, it's one of those Nicholas Sparks books where it's just two white people just staring at each other," he said.

Los Angeles: Stand up comedian Aziz Ansari will star in Netflix comedy series that he co-created with his "Parks and Recreation" writer-producer Alan Yang.

Netflix has ordered 10 episodes of half-hour show, reported the Entertainment Weekly.

Apart from Ansari, the show will star Jon Benjamin, Lena Waithe, Eric Wareheim, Noel Wells and Kelvin Yu.--PTI
