In a survey published by Wealth-X, a Singapore-based organization, veteran Israeli producer Arnon Milchan, who was responsible for 'Once Upon a Time in America' and 'Pretty Woman' grabbed the second position with the net worth of 5.2 billion dollars, the Guardian reported.

Los Angeles, June 25 : Filmmaker George Lucas has married his girlfriend of seven years, Mellody Hobson.

They exchanged vows at the Peninsula Hotel in Chicago.

The guest list had fellow movie director Ron Howard and actor Samuel L. Jackson, reports femalefirst. co. uk.

After the wedding, Jackson took to Twitter and posted: "Let's give a Galactic shout out to Master George Lucas & his bride Melody on this their wedding day!! Congrats!."

Even Howard congratulated the newlyweds on his Twitter page.

Los Angeles, Oct 31 - The Walt Disney Company announced Tuesday an outlay of $4.05 billion for the purchase of the Lucasfilm company, founded by director George Lucas and the creator of franchises like "Star Wars" and "Indiana Jones".

Disney also revealed that it plans to create a new chapter in the famous galactic saga - "Star Wars: Episode 7" - to premiere in 2015.

Disney struck an agreement with Lucas, owner of 100 percent of Lucasfilm, for the purchase of the company to be paid half in cash and the remainder with approximately 40 million Disney shares.

"I'm moving away from the company, I'm moving away from all my businesses, I'm finishing all my obligations and I'm going to retire to my garage with my saw and hammer and build hobby movies," femalefirst. co. uk quoted the 68-year-old as saying. He lives in Marin county, California.

"I've always wanted to make movies that were more experimental in nature, and not have to worry about them showing in movie theatres," he added.
