Washington D.C., Aug. 17: The Playboy Mansion finally gets its new owner, with a whopping prize of 100 million dollars.

The property was bought by Daren Metropoulos, Hugh Hefner's neighbour and a principal at private equity firm Metropoulos and Co, for half of the 200 million dollars it was initially listed for earlier this year, reports TMZ.com.

Reportedly, the compromise was at a lower price, but the PBM heir gets to maintain access to the home for the rest of his life.

Los Angeles: The Playboy Mansion has officially been sold for USD 100 million to Daren Metropoulos who lives next door to the property.

Hugh Hefner, the owner of Playboy Mansion, had put the estate on the market for USD 200 million but it sold for USD 100 million and it was previously reported that the buyer has agreed to allow the 90-year-old media mogul to remain in the property until he dies, reported Entertainment Tonight.

"The Playboy Mansion is one of the most iconic properties in the world and the crown jewel of Holmby Hills and the platinum triangle," Metropoulos said.

Los Angeles, May 17 : Playboy boss Hugh Hefner is being sued over claims he "conspired" with actor-comedian Bill Cosby to drug and sexually assault a teenager at the Playboy Mansion here.

The 90-year-old is named in legal papers filed on Monday by a dancer here who has alleged that Cosby attacked her at a party in 2008 at the mansion, when she was just 18, reports dailymail.co.uk.

The dancer named Chloe Goins claims Cosby gave her a drink and that she later woke up to find herself naked with Cosby biting her toes and with his pants around his ankles.

Washington D. C., April 9 : Hugh Hefner's younger brother has recently passed away at his home in Beverly Hills. He was 87.

Sources revealed that Keith Hefner died on the morning of April 8. Though he was battling cancer, it is unclear if it is the cause of his death, reports TMZ. com.

Keith had been a longtime executive at Playboy and was handling Bunny training and recruitment.

He also tried his hand in acting and appeared in a few movies and TV shows like 'Get Smart.' (ANI)

Jeff Beacher, who owns Las Vegas nightspot Beacher's Madhouse, has met with Playboy executives to discuss buying the six-acre estate, which is up for sale for 200 million dollars, with the caveat that the buyer must accept 89-year-old Hugh Hefner as their roommate, Channel 24 reported.

The businessman wants to be allowed to use the Playboy name for the club and has drawn up paperwork for a 90m dollar-offer, comprising 12m dollars from himself and the remainder from partners.
