Los Angeles, Feb 1 : Actor Leonardo DiCaprio is still in pain from the back injury which he sustained while shooting "The Wolf of Wall Street".

The 39-year-old hurt his back in a scene where he falls down a stone staircase and is still in pain, reports contactmusic. com.

"He says he is in non-stop pain and has gained weight because he can't exercise. It hurts to lie down for too long and it's agony to twist his body into any crazy positions. Leo hasn't even been partying because dancing is painful," Star magazine quoted a source as saying.

The actor feels that the "age barometer" for becoming old has gone high and he is absolutely “prepared” to turn 40, reports contactmusic. com

"I suppose 40 represents something different, but I've been thinking about 40 for so long that I'm prepared for it," ShortList magazine quoted DiCaprio as saying.

"It seems like the age barometer where you're still considered youthful is getting higher and higher. I'm going to hold on to that ideal as long as I can," he added.

London, Jan 8 : Leonardo DiCaprio has revealed that he is absolutely terrified of sharks since a diving expedition in South Africa went horribly wrong.

During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, 'The Wolf of Wall Street' star recalled that he had a huge fear of sharks, and when he did 'Blood Diamond' in 2006, he actually got stuck in a cage with a gigantic great white, the Mirror reported.

The 39-year-old actor explained that the shark got stuck on top of the cage and went into the cage with him.

The actor feels that some people may misunderstand the film's plot, and so he has clarified that the film is against criminal behaviour.

"This film may be misunderstood by some. I hope people understand we're not condoning this behavior, we're indicting it," variety. com quoted DiCaprio as saying.
