London, Aug 2 : One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson has joined forces with music mogul Simon Cowell to launch a new girl band.

Tomlinson has set up his own record label imprint under Sony and the pair are working with a new girl group, which Cowell says are "as good as I have ever heard", reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"He has just signed a deal with us as an imprint of a record label. He has a new artiste who is going to be released this year I hope who are incredible," Cowell told The Sun newspaper.

London, July 28 : Music mogul Simon Cowell has started training his two-year-old son Eric for a job in his own record label.

Cowell has already mapped out his son's career and plans to give the youngster, who he has with partner Lauren Silverman, 38, a role at Syco Music when he is old enough, reports etonline.com.

"He's doing amazing. He's like two-and-a-half-years old. He loves music, loves dancing. He's going to follow me into what I do. I know that. I'm training him up now. He's going to work for my record label," Cowell said.

"We're in touch with them all. The great thing about all these boys - well not all of them but most of them - they are incredibly loyal and you don't always expect that," Cowell said.
