In his very unique way to surprise the reporters covering the Trump administration, the ' Forest Gump' star sent a brand new espresso machine to them, adding a note of encouragement.

It read, "Keep up the good fight for Truth, Justice and the American way. Especially for the Truth part."

In an emotional video on Instagram, he revealed, "I do have a daughter. She's the best thing that's ever happened to me."

Hanks credited his baby with helping him to get clean.

The 60-year-old can't get enough of the sight of his rear in the 1994 movie "Forrest Gump" in which he plays the titular character, especially in one particular scene that sees him running away from the camera in fitted beige trousers, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"I had worked out quite a bit, it was all about running and I must say my buttocks, as Forrest would say, were as firm as tinned hams," Hanks said on a chat show.

Los Angeles, Sep 10 : Actor Tom Hanks has donned the hat of a writer to pen the script of upcoming World War II drama "Greyhound", which will be directed by Aaron Schneider. Hanks might also star in the film.

Gary Goetzman, Hanks's longtime producing partner at Playtone Pictures, will produce the film, reports variety.com.

Hanks would portray a career officer given command of a Navy destroyer -- named "Greyhound" -- who has to deal with combat enemies and his own self doubts.

Hanks has previously worked as a writer for films like "Larry Crowne" and "That Thing You Do!".

According to eonline.com, one house costs $8.75 million, while the second is on the market for $9.25 million.

The first is a 3,930 square-foot, Spanish-style villa with four bedrooms and five bathrooms and impressive views of the Santa Monica Mountains.

Hanks and Wilson's second home is a 7,260 square-foot, English country-style property, which has seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

Both have large outdoor spaces.
