Warner Bros. recently released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming adaptation of Stephen King's 'IT' and in its first 24 hours, it has racked up 197 million views across platforms, reports Hollywood Reporter.
' IT' has broken the record previously set by ' The Fate of the Furious: Fast 8,' which garnered 139 million views in its first 24 hours.
In a single day, the New Line production had 81 million views on Facebook alone, and the trailer held the number one spot on YouTube's trending videos.

As CNN reports, charges against Shia LaBeouf, of misdemeanor assault and a harassment violation after getting in a scuffle during an anti-Trump rally in New York City in January, have been dismissed.
A spokeswoman with the Queens District Attorney's Office said La Beouf was given a "pre-arraignment dismissal," citing insufficient evidence.

According to the Guardian, Pearl Mackie, who plays Bill Potts in the upcoming series, told the BBC that her character's openness about her sexuality was important to represent onscreen, but not her defining characteristic.
On this note, though gay characters have been featured in the show in the past, it was never a full-time companions previously.

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Whedon is in negotiations to write, direct and produce a Batgirl stand-alone movie for Warner Bros.
Toby Emmerich, the president of Warner Bros. Pictures, will oversee the project along with Geoff Johns and Jon Berg.
Whedon has long been credited as a pioneering voice for female-focused genre fare, having created the hit TV show ' Buffy the Vampire Slayer' two decades ago.
