Denis Villeneuve's 'Dune' reboot has finally found a writer in Eric Roth, who won the Oscar for his screenplay for ' Forrest Gump,' reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Eric will adopt Frank Herbert's sci-fi novel of the same name.
The movie follows Paul Atreides, whose family controls the desert planet Arrakis, the only producer of a highly valuable resource, spice melange. When Paul and his family are betrayed, he leads a rebellion to regain control of his home world.

As reported by Hollywood Reporter, Christian Bale, along with Steve Carell and Amy Adams, are in early talks to star in the untitled Dick Cheney biopic being prepped by Adam McKay.
The Paramount's project is a follow-up to McKay's ' The Big Short.' His Oscar-nominated movie about the economic and housing market collapse in the mid-2000s.
The movie focuses on the controversial figure Dick Cheney, who acted as the vice president to President George W. Bush.

According to Hollywood Reporter, a high-schooler from her hometown of Scottsdale posted a video on his Twitter handle, asking Emma Stone to be his prom date with an elaborate 'La La Land' parody video.
Arcadia High School student Jacob Staudenmaier filmed his so-called "prom-posal" in the style of the opening song from Stone's Oscar-winning film, which features a dance number on a traffic-filled Los Angeles highway.
