New York [USA], Apr 16 : Just when one thought Sean Spicer's awful 'Hitler' gaffe won't make the headlines anymore, actress Melissa McCarthy came up with ' Saturday Night Live' to reprise her impression of the White House press secretary.

For the unversed, Spicer, during a briefing on April 11, mistakenly declared that Adolf Hitler did not use gas on his own people and then bizarrely added that Hitler brought the Jews to "Holocaust centers."

However, according to CNN, he later apologised for the verbal debacle in an interview.

"We were showing perfect women -- they wore the perfect thing, they never got upset. I don't know any of those women. I know women and men that are every colour and mood and emotion. Don't be surprised when you see interesting, multi-dimensional women. That's the goal," McCarthy said here.

New York, July 14 : "Ghostbusters" star Melissa McCarthy has urged the society to "stop tearing down women". Her comment follows actress Jennifer Aniston's blog on the subject.

Aniston addressed ongoing pregnancy rumours and body-shaming by penning an op-ed for the Huffington Post on Tuesday, in which she made a plea for people to stop scrutinising females for the way they look.

Speaking to etonline. com at Gildafest'16 here on Tuesday, McCarthy said she agrees "one hundred thousand billion per cent" with Aniston.

Singapore, July 13 : Melissa McCarthy will be seen busting ghosts in forthcoming film "Ghostbusters", and the actress says working in the film was fun but a "little creepy".

McCarthy will be seen in Paul Feig's version of the famous 1984 eponymous American supernatural horror comedy along with Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon. It also stars Chris Hemsworth.

Feig made sure to cast an actor who was in full make-up and in costume for the role of ghosts, and then he would just augment them with C.G. (Computer-generated techniques) for a more realistic performance.

Speaking to Yahoo Movies, the cast revealed one scene's dialogue had been altered to mock the most ludicrous aspects of the film's backlash, in which the team read out the trolling comments left on a video they uploaded to YouTube, the Independent reported.

"It was added [to the script]," Melissa McCarthy stated, adding "We did something on the day that slightly tweaked it."
