Los Angeles, Nov 27 :Actress Nikki Reed says she was not emotionally close with father Seth Reed when she was young because he divorced her mother Cheryl Houston.

The actress, who is known for her role as Rosalie Cullen in "Twilight" franchise, failed to understand the reason behind her parents' split.

"We weren't close growing up and I guess it was both of our faults. He was waiting for me to come around and I was bitter about him divorcing mom," Zooey magazine quoted Reed as saying.

The 24-year-old has a huge following from her role as vampire Rosalie Cullen in the "Twilight Saga" franchise.

The couple performed at the Olive's Annual Poolside party here Saturday. The benefit money will go to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust which works towards the cause of saving endangered species like elephants and rhinos, reports dailystar. co. uk.

Reed, who is well known for her character of Rosalie Hale in the "Twilight" franchise, said on Twitter: "We had such a great time singing and raising money for baby elephants."

Los Angeles, Aug 11 - Actress Nikki Reed says everyone will be emotional at the premiere of her forthcoming film "Breaking Dawn 2" -- the final movie in the "Twilight" series.

The 24-year-old plays Rosalie Hale, one of the vampires in the movie, and says she is saddened by the thought that the journey is coming to an end.

"It's not the last time we'll see each other, but it's the last time we'll see each other in that way and it's weird to say that it'll never happen again," eonline. com quoted Reed as saying.

"It is sad. I'm really sad," she added.
