Los Angeles, Dec 15 : Socialite and former reality star Paris Hilton says she wants to be known as a businesswoman, not as a reality TV star.

The 35-year-old spoke about shedding her party girl image and her new life as a businesswoman with Harper's Bazaar, reports dailymail.co.uk.

"I want to be known as a businesswoman. I don't want to be known as a reality TV star. I don't like the way that sounds," she said.

Hilton added: "I am very focused on my business and when you live in that mind frame, you can stay away from the trashy tabloids."

"He asked her for $100 as she left the party. She gave the man a crisp Benjamin Franklin," a witness told the New York Post newspaper's page six column.

Los Angeles, July 21 : Socialite Paris Hilton is to launch a new line of luxury hotels, following in the footsteps of her great-grandfather Conrad Hilton.

According to Forbes magazine, she will open hotels in Dubai, New York and Las Vegas - three of her favourite places to visit. A launch date is yet to be revealed, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

This will not be Hilton's first venture into the real estate world.

In 2010, she designed two Beach Clubs for Azure Urban Resort Residences by Century Properties in the Philippines.

The video that created the hype was posted to Instagram in 2014 and it features the 35-year-old business woman cuddling a one-year-old orangutan from Dubai, named Dior, reports People magazine.
