Penelope Cruz pregnant with second child
Madrid, Feb 13 - Spanish actress Penelope Cruz is pregnant with her second child, her publicist confirmed to EFE Tuesday.
Leonardo, the first child of Cruz, 38, and 43-year-old husband Javier Bardem, another Spanish big-screen star, was born in January 2011 at the Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
The pair of Oscar-winning performers married in July 2010 in The Bahamas.

Los Angeles, Feb 2 - Spanish actress Penelope Cruz, mother for the first time just over two years ago, could be pregnant again, at least that's what the New York Post asserted Friday in a scoop picked up by People Magazine and Us Weekly.
The Post cites sources close to the Oscar-winning actress, though when EFE asked her publicists about a possible baby No. 2, they preferred not to commit themselves.
Us Weekly also confirmed the news without identifying its sources.
Cruz, 38, and her husband, 43-year-old Spanish actor Javier Bardem, had their first child Leonardo in January 2011.

The two have teamed up with British lingerie retailer Agent Provocateur to create the L'Agent diffusion line, which will feature 15 styles, including a selection of briefs and corsets.

Toronto, Sep 15 : Spanish actress Penelope Cruz said at the Toronto International Film Festival that she will never stop making films in Spain and in Spanish, but that she also would like to play a character with a British accent and take on the role of a stereotypical California "valley girl".
Cruz presented her latest film "Venuto al mondo" (Twice Born), an Italian-Spanish co-production directed by Sergio Castellitto and also starring Emile Hirsch, Adnan Haskovic and Saadet Aksoy, Thursday at the TIFF.

The ad starts with the siblings battling to surpass each other's scores on their respective Nintento DS consoles. Unleashing her competitive streak, the "Nine" star is filmed playing Mario on an outdoor sofa.
Wax sculpture of Penelope Cruz in Paris museum
Paris, July 27 : A wax sculpture of Spanish actress Penelope Cruz will be placed in a premier spot in a Paris museum, joining similar statues of Brad Pitt and George Clooney.
The Grevin Wax Museum decided to include the actress in its list of stars to "pay tribute to this essential actress who has asserted herself on the world level as well as on the Spanish one", the museum's communications director, Veronique Berecz, told EFE.
