Los Angeles, July 11 : Actor Robert Downey Jr., who depicts the onscreen version of Iron Man in the film franchise, is excited for Riri Williams, a 15-year-old black girl and a science genius, to take up the mantle. Marvel writer Brian Michael Bendis earlier this week revealed that Tony Stark will be replaced by Williams. According to Bendis, Tony Stark will step out of the Iron Man suit at the end of the comic book crossover storyline "Civil War II", and Williams will take over.

Downey Jr. extended support to Williams in a tweet.

The 50-year-old actor had sat for a chit-chat to promote his new flick ' The Avengers: Age of Ultron ,' however, when the interviewer Krishnan Guru-Murthy's questions started relating to his distant past, he got up saying that he didn't sign up for a Diane Sawyer sit-down, TMZ.com reported.

Downey, who took it all well as long as the talks were about the film, removed the mic and walked out after Guru-Murthy started talking prison, politics and family. (ANI)

London, July 1 - Robert Downey Jr has offered support to his son Indio, who was arrested for cocaine possession, by saying that addiction is inherited in his family.

The 'Iron Man' star stated that there was a lot of family support and understanding, and they were all determined to rally behind his son and help him become the man he was capable of being, the Mirror reported.
